Procedure Overview:

2. Submit An Application
It’s so easy!
Start by filling out an adoption application on our website fureveroasis.com. If you are interested in a
specific cat, please list him/her on your application. Make sure you fill out every question before
submitting or we will not receive it.
Wait For Approval
Your submitted application will be processed and reviewed. A Furever Friends volunteer
will reach out to you within 24-48 hours to let you know the status of your application. If you are not
approved, there was an answer to a question on your application that did not meet our adoption requirements.
Setup Meet & Greet
You will be called to set up an appt to come to our rescue and meet the kitties. You will not be
taking a cat home on the first visit. Each cat may have up to 3 applications and meet and greets. This process can take up to 3 weeks. We suggest that you come for several visits to make sure
the kitty is the right fit for your family. Usually the cat tells you!
Finalize Adoption
If you are chosen as the best fit for the cat, you will complete the adoption. We will guide you through
the contract and collect the adoption fee. Cash or checks only. If you are not selected, please don’t be
discouraged! Our process is designed to benefit both cat and humans! Your approved application is
good for 6 months and we are happy to help you find another cat that is a perfect fit for your family.
